We are here but our posting information is in Chinese so at this point we can't post an entry. We'll keep working on it and let you know what happens! In the meantime, all's well in Xian. A lovely journey here and now we are off to visit the university.
I could access the website you listed, so they must not be too concerned. However, we can't access our LPS accounts. Perhaps you could talk with someone about that. I sent a note through my gmail account to ask for help, but I don't know if anyone received it.
Mary - I'll ask (I'll probably go straight to Brian Fitzgerald) but I worry that it's the same thing Randy E. ran into in Australia. They told Randy he couldn't use the lps email b/c all of southeast Asia is blocked from our server! Apparently a lot of spammers use servers in that part of the world and LPS just blocks the whole area. But I'll ask! Randy used his gmail account - if you or someone there have one (or you can just start one?) I could forward stuf from you to people around here? Let me know.
Thanks Rob. Kirk thought they had changed something so it wasn't filtered, that's why I was surprised. Don't worry about it. We'll keep the blog updated so everyone knows what's happening. All is well here. I do have a gmail account but it's last name and then first initial. I talked to Nancy and Glenda and all using Skype. That was grand! Amazing technology. I don't feel so far away!
